Awaking from the dark shadows that taunted the edge of his vision, Arthur was met with a painfully bright light as he slowly opened his eyes.
He winced against the sun, feeling a sharp sting emerge on the right side of his head. Pressing a hand to his forehead to shade himself, he found his skin oddly cool to the touch.
